CEASLESSLY
I often get asked about my resting time, and if any.
It always makes me reflect on work, how I work and why I work. Honestly, I rest my way. I’m excited for being present and in awe of being alive every time I open my eyes. It seems non-stop because that’s how I perceive life, non-stop
It wasn’t always that way, but art has given me peace. Once I understood the power of investing my energy wisely, the rewards kept growing—work, opportunities, and people madly in love with life.
As an artist, I import, export, and recombine ideas. They come in waves, and what keeps them coming is the work.
Intense studio days, resting (my way), and trying new palettes (a challenge not to include pink heheee).
I’m focused on working better.
I’m happy with how my ideas have unfolded, aiming for greatness (thanks, Jim Collins). Starting with embroidery on paper, I used Canson and Fabriano, adjusting thickness based on the work. Over time, I’ve become more conscious about paper—its thickness, texture, and color evolution. Visits to the Whitney Museum’s conservation department and Bonhams auction house deepened my understanding of materials and pigments.
Sharing this is part of my process. I value knowledge about my medium, aiming for clean and sustainable work🌱. Trust in my art relationships is crucial. Knowledge is power, making it easier to understand the why behind actions☁️ This series uses German etching 300gr, my “now paper” since Artbo 23’. Loving it!
